Playful Peanut

With his striking brown brindled coat and his tall white stockings, Peanut is sure to catch your eye… but what he wants most is to win your heart. This sweet and energetic young boy is only a year and a half old and still has a little growing left to do. Peanut is already on the large side, and will continue to fill out a bit more as he ages. He is a mix of Plott Hound and Boxer, so it is no surprise that he loves to run and play. Peanut would do really well with someone who enjoys walking or jogging, or has a large yard where he could have an opportunity to run off his puppy energy and get plenty of daily exercise. He is a very smart dog, and has recently graduated from a basic obedience training class at the Marion Alachua Dog Training Association here in Ocala. With that foundation already laid, Peanut is ready to continue to learn and grow with his adopter. He plays really well with his doggie roommate at the shelter, and was also social with other dogs that completed the training class with him. If you are looking for a fun and loving dog, playful Peanut would be perfect!
