Tammy Green Daniels Fix The Future Fund
Since the creation of the fund in 2016, we have subsidized thousands of spay and neuter surgeries for pets as well as hundreds of surgeries, vaccinations, and other various medical procedures. Providing this subsidy helped keep animals in their homes and prevented thousands of unwanted litters from being born into homelessness.

Tammy Green Daniels
(pictured above and at right)
Tammy Green Daniels was one of VOCAL’s first supporters. She believed in our mission and supported our goal of making Marion County a better place for animals to live. She understood the importance of offering low-cost spay/neuter and other low-cost veterinary services to pet owners in need in our community. When we named this fund, we could not think of a better person to honor.
Born in rural Virginia, Tammy Lynn Daniels loved animals from an early age. She spent much of her childhood nurturing kittens and raising abandoned baby squirrels. Over time, her love for both animals and people grew into an unbridled passion. Weekends in the Daniels household were always a mix of big dogs (and cats who thought they were big dogs), good food, better friends, and Seminole football. She was deeply passionate about animal rescue and was involved with several rescue efforts, from sponsoring dogs, to helping transport them to their forever homes. VOCAL held a special place in her heart because of their incredible passion, dignity, and love for animals. Her passion for both animals and VOCAL lives on through her wife, Lynda, and her two children, Brandon and Ashley. Live well. Laugh often. Love all.
Edna's Walkway: Legacy Paver
If you are like most animal lovers, you have that one pet (or pets) who deeply impacted your life. Edna was that special pet in the Stephens family and they have made a paver walkway at VOCAL possible in her honor. Now you can honor your special pet and at the same time you will benefit the homeless animals that we serve at VOCAL.
Become a legacy paver member for $200 and secure your memorial paver engraved with your tribute to that special pet. Your $200 contribution will help us keep our promises to homeless animals and your paver will memorialize your pet forever.
Memorialize Your Pet
Do you have a beloved pet that you would like to memorialize and honor?
If you or someone you care about has lost a pet and would like a way to honor their memory consider a Pet Memorial Donation to VOCAL. We will ensure the legacy your pet leaves behind lives on by saving lives and helping to fulfill our mission. All proceeds from pet memorials go directly to aiding animals in need right here in Marion County.
