"Expanding Our Pawprint"Capital Campaign
Together, We Build Their Tomorrow.
VOCAL’s Expanding Our Pawprint Capital Campaign is dedicated to meeting the growing animal welfare needs of our community — today and for generations to come.
As Marion County continues to grow, so does the need for accessible veterinary care, rescue support, pet food assistance, education, and safe recovery spaces for animals in need. This campaign will help VOCAL expand its campus, strengthen its programs, and build a future where more pets and the people who love them can receive the support they deserve.

Phase I: Welcome Center
The proposed Welcome Center will create a more welcoming, functional, and flexible space for VOCAL’s growing programs and community services.
This building will support expanded clinic services, pet food bank operations, education, collaboration, donor engagement, and community outreach. The floor plan includes space for reception, exam rooms, a pet food pantry, conference room, multi-purpose room, and support areas.

Phase II: Intake & Recovery

This space is designed to help protect shelter health, safely support new arrivals, provide recovery areas for sick or vulnerable animals, and increase VOCAL’s ability to bring more animals into care. The plan includes kennel areas, sick bays, cat intake space, exam space, laundry, storage, and recovery support areas.
