Third Annual Furball Raises $146,300
This is truly a generous community that loves its’ pets. An incredible $146,300 was raised at the 3rd annual FURBALL held at the Golden Ocala Golf and Equestrian Club Sat. Feb. 10th.
Our low-cost spay-neuter clinic will become a reality in 2018! As our emcee Evan Hecht so eloquently pointed out, this is the beginning of the end of the killing and the next step in becoming a no-kill community.
We are grateful for every sponsor listed in this post, but we want to shine a spotlight on our Presenting Sponsor Dr. Maggie Bell and her husband Darcy Bird. Dr. Bell believed in our mission from the beginning and wrote the first check to support us 3 years ago. She has been a tireless fund-raiser for VOCAL and a generous donor.
