Wonderful Winnie

Winnie is a continual tail wagger! She is a friendly, happy dog with a moderate energy level who just likes to hang with her people. Her foster mom says, “When you look into her caramel colored eyes you just want to wrap your arms around her and give her a big hug!” Winnie loves her food and treats and is eager to please so future training in her new home will doubtless go well. In her foster home she whines to be let out, rarely gets on furniture unless invited and is comfortable being in a crate. She gets along very well with other dogs, both male and female. In fact, in her foster home she has shown herself to be a peace loving dog by not getting involved when others skirmish. There is also a cat in Winnie’s foster home and at times she will give a little chase…at other times Winnie can be found sleeping peacefully side by side with the cat. She loves her walks and does really, really well on leash – off leash the hound in her shows as she delights in all that her nose is telling her. Her foster mom says she does reasonably well with recall. Winnie is ready to devote herself to her forever family – they will be so fortunate to have her!
